FSC FIRST LEADERSHIP
Our staff is comprised of a uniquely qualified team of accounting, administrative, economic development finance and commercial lending professionals. Our President and CEO is appointed by the Board of Directors and serves in accordance with the U. S. Small Business Administration code requirements, and serve on the Economic Cluster of the Prince George’s County Administration led by County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. Our staff is augmented by consultants and countless volunteers who serve on Ad Hoc Committees appointed by the Board of Directors, including the Loan Review Committee.

More than 35 years of executive-level management experience in economic development finance. Provides day-to-day leadership and oversight. Responsible for budgeting, fiscal and internal controls; staffing, strategic planning, resource development, grant writing, fundraising, internal controls, marketing, business development, developing and achieving the annual work action plan . Responsible for marketing and promotions, developing economic development policies and lending programs to support the County’s public policy goals and initiatives. Responsible for all human resources decisions and volunteer recruitment and strategic partnership relations.

Provides day-to-day oversight and staff support to the prospecting, lending, closing and portfolio management activities. Assists with revenue forecasting from lending activities. Serves as the EDI Fund Manager.

Responsible for pre-qualifying loan applicants through initial credit analysis, underwriting, presentation for approval by the appropriate loan review committee and ratification by the Board of Directors. Responsible for all SBA transmittals, modifications and approvals.
