FSC First is proud to celebrate three years of leadership under President & CEO Dawn R. Medley, whose steady guidance, professionalism, and strong public presence continue to shape the organization’s impact across the region.
Since stepping into her role, Dawn has been instrumental in advancing FSC First’s mission to expand access to capital and business support for entrepreneurs. She has played a key role in increasing awareness of FSC First’s programs and services, ensuring that small businesses across Maryland understand the financial and technical resources available to them.
A consistent and outspoken advocate for small businesses, Dawn regularly represents FSC First at conferences, panels, community events, and industry forums. Her ability to clearly communicate FSC First’s impact and capital access opportunities has strengthened public understanding of the organization’s work and reinforced its reputation as a trusted financial partner. Beyond FSC First, Dawn also serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) Awards Committee and the Maryland Commercial Lenders Association (MCCA), further amplifying her leadership within the economic development community.
