Williams & Heintz Map Corp., a longstanding family-owned business, has been at the forefront of custom map printing and GIS cartography for over a decade. Under the stewardship of Holly Budd and Mark Budd, the company has established itself as a leader in high-quality, environmentally conscious map production. As an ISO-certified printer, Williams & Heintz maintains rigorous standards to ensure top-notch quality while minimizing their environmental impact.

The company serves an impressive array of clients, including the U.S. government and major commercial and institutional organizations. Based in a sizable facility in Capital Heights, they have now reached a pivotal moment where expansion is necessary to keep up with growing demand. After years of outsourcing certain operations, Holly and Mark decided it was time to grow their footprint by acquiring a second location. This new facility will not only house operations but also serve as a distribution and fulfillment center.

To support this significant growth, Holly and Mark turned to FSC FIRST. From our 13 diverse access to capital programs, we identified the perfect fit for their needs—the SBA 504 loan. “We did not have the space we needed in our facility,” Mark Budd shared. “The SBA 504 has allowed us to expand our facility and operations, enabling us to bring some previously outsourced work in-house.” This expansion involves the acquisition of a 35,560 square-foot warehouse situated on 3.38 acres of land in Frederick, MD.

The team at Williams & Heintz is enthusiastic about the future and the new possibilities this expansion will bring. FSC FIRST is proud to support their journey and encourages other business owners to explore our SBA 504 loan for their real estate expansion needs.
