For many women entrepreneurs, burnout has become so common that it feels normal.
The long hours. The pressure to succeed. The expectation to constantly show up for everyone else while silently neglecting yourself.
Dr. Keisha L. Mack, Founder & CEO of Everbloom Wellness Solutions, knows that experience personally — and it’s exactly why she’s passionate about helping women leaders prioritize mental wellness while building successful businesses.
As a licensed psychologist, entrepreneur, and advocate for women’s wellness, Dr. Mack openly shares her own journey with depression, burnout, and healing to remind women that success should never come at the expense of their well-being.
“Many women entrepreneurs are successful on the outside while silently struggling internally,” she shared.
During graduate school, Dr. Mack struggled with clinical depression fueled by perfectionism and the pressure to constantly achieve. Although she was studying psychology at the time, asking for help was still difficult.
Years later, after building a successful business, she realized she was once again sacrificing herself in the name of success — experiencing anxiety, burnout, and emotional exhaustion while continuing to lead.
That realization became the foundation for the work she now does through Everbloom Wellness Solutions.
Today, Dr. Mack speaks openly about the mental health challenges women entrepreneurs face, including chronic stress, burnout, isolation, and the pressure to “do it all.”
“Women are often praised for carrying everything,” she explained, “but many are silently overwhelmed.”
Through her “Thriving While Leading” work, Dr. Mack encourages women to redefine what success looks like by prioritizing wellness, establishing healthier boundaries, and seeking support without guilt.
“A true leader understands that a well leader drives sustainable growth and success,” she said.
Whether through therapy, exercise, rest, or simply learning to say “no,” Dr. Mack believes women must intentionally create space for themselves while pursuing their goals.
Most importantly, she wants women entrepreneurs to know they do not have to struggle alone.
As conversations around mental health continue to grow, Dr. Mack hopes more women leaders will begin prioritizing themselves just as much as they prioritize their businesses — because sustainable success should never cost you your peace.
