When Mamadou Wade founded All Electric & Solar two and a half years ago, he set out with a mission to bring affordable, clean energy solutions to homeowners in Prince George’s County and beyond. His company specializes in designing and installing solar photovoltaic systems—everything from rooftop and ground-mounted solar panels to complete off-grid solar power solutions with battery backup.
Mamadou was driven by a passion for sustainability and a desire to help combat global warming. He saw a growing need for renewable energy sources that reduce pollution and offer an alternative to traditional energy. “The switch to renewable energy helps save our planet from Global Warming and can provide significant monetary savings,” he shared. All Electric & Solar was created to meet the renewable energy demand while ensuring affordability for homeowners.
Turning Setbacks into Momentum
As with many start-ups, the road to success has not been without its challenges. Early on, Mamadou faced the tough reality of not having projects and access to capital. With operational costs mounting, it was difficult to stay afloat. “Setting up a business takes time, effort, and resources,” he noted. However, despite the obstacles, Mamadou’s perseverance paid off when All Electric & Solar signed its first project contract—a pivotal moment that marked the beginning of an exciting growth phase for the company.

With a team of dedicated employees, subcontractors, and other future business partners, All Electric & Solar is just getting started. The company offers a wide range of services, from grid-tied solar power system design to off-grid solutions with battery backup and solar system consultations. The goal is clear: to keep acquiring new projects and continue making a positive impact on the community through renewable energy.
