In an era where the importance of education and emotional well-being go hand-in-hand, Orisha Brown, founder of Good Hope Tutoring Services (GHTS), has made it her mission to bridge learning gaps and inspire students to thrive. Sparked by her experiences as an educator and her commitment to holistic child development, Orisha created a tutoring service that does more than help students with academics. It empowers them to become confident, lifelong learners and responsible community members.
Good Hope Tutoring, an educational service with a growing team of 15 highly qualified tutors, provides nationwide in-person and virtual tutoring for students from Pre-K to college. Their offerings include diagnostic testing, one-on-one and group tutoring, test preparation, STEAM programs, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) mentoring. These services are thoughtfully designed to nurture the “whole child,” addressing both academic challenges and emotional well-being.
Orisha’s vision for GHTS is ambitious: to expand into a nationally recognized educational service provider while maintaining the high standards of excellence her team is known for. By focusing on personalized learning and investing in cohesive training, she aims to transform the academic landscape, one student at a time. This growth begins locally in the DMV area, with plans to expand nationwide.
Good Hope Tutoring is currently offering a special promotion until December 31, 2024: new clients can receive a complimentary diagnostic assessment with the purchase of a 4-week or 3-month math or reading tutoring plan. This assessment sets a solid foundation for personalized learning, ensuring that each student’s strengths and areas for growth are clearly identified.
Orisha’s passion for education is echoed in GHTS’s tagline, “Learn, Grow, Achieve!”—a commitment that not only drives students to academic success but also instills a lifelong love for learning. Having benefited from FSC First’s Level Up Master CEO Series, Orisha values continuous growth, reflecting the same drive she inspires in her students and her team.
Stay tuned as Good Hope Tutoring continues to inspire excellence and redefine what it means to learn and grow.
