Dr. Glenda F. Hodges, PhD, J.D., M.Div., is the CEO of Still I Rise Inc., Still I Rise CSS&T, LLC and The Women’s Wellness Center. Currently, Dr. Hodges serves as the director for domestic violence services in Prince George’s County, Maryland (District 9), appointed by District 9 Councilmember, the Honorable Mel Franklin.
FSC First provided the financial assistance for the purchase, renovation, equipment and working capital for this $770,000 project through our Small Business Growth Fund Loan Program, the Economic Development Loan Fund, and the Economic Development Incentive (EDI) Fund for the Women’s Wellness Center. The purpose of the Women’s Wellness Center is to establish a new avenue of healthcare delivery in the Clinton area, which will be totally devoted to women’s wellness.
With a healthcare team lead by a primary care physician and accompanied by two nurse practitioners, women will be able to receive screenings that focus on health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, patient education and overall women’s wellness. The Women’s Wellness Center mission is to deliver superior outpatient medical care to the Clinton area of Prince George’s County, MD by focusing on four principles: access, interaction, reliability and vitality.
