Healthy Living Ventures dba Tropical Smoothie Café is a national franchise with over 20 years of experience. Their expanding number of outlets includes over 500 nationwide with a mission to inspire a healthier lifestyle by serving amazing food and smoothies with a bit of tropical fun.
FSC First restructured the financing and brought in resource partners in order to accommodate the client’s acquisition and start-up needs through innovative and creative financing using funds from three programs managed by FSC First: The City of Bowie Revolving Loan Fund, MD DHCD Microenterprise Loan Fund, and the Economic Development Corporation Revolving Loan Fund. The aggregate amount of $165,000 fulfilled the funding needs that allowed the client to receive a prominent location in the new Bowie Marketplace.
