Congratulations are in order! FSC First is happy to announce that Eddie Tuvin will lead a new effort as our Chief Lending Officer.
Eddie has served on the FSC Board of Directors for the past year. He comes to FSC First as an executive market leader with 32 years of lending experience as well as advising and lobbying on behalf of financial institutions including before Congress and regulatory authorities. He is tasked with increasing FSC’s 504 loan origination and helping FSC First do its part to create jobs in Prince George’s County and the State of Maryland. He is a recognized thought leader and community activist for decades of economic policy and advocacy. Eddie was a co-founder of the Maryland Commercial Lenders Association (MCLA) whose membership includes the majority of SBA lending institutions in Maryland. He has given expert testimony to the Small Business Committee of the U.S. Senate on SBA loan programs as a representative of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) and has worked with Congressional Staff and key members of the House on business finance initiatives.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Johns Hopkins University, graduating summa cum laude, and was elected to serve three (3) terms on the Johns Hopkins Alumni Council Board of Directors.
