On Monday, May 17th, The Honorable United States Senator Benjamin Cardin visited FSC First to learn more about our COVID-19 small business recovery activity. Additionally, Senator Cardin shared next steps for small business recovery and expressed his gratitude to the entire FSC First community.
Four businesses impacted by the pandemic had the opportunity to share their hardships, their action plan, and road to recovery. The Brass Tap at the National Harbor, Good Hope Tutoring, Fit2Function Pilates, and Tonyia’s Hair Salon all received funding through the Prince George’s County Business Recovery Initiative last year.
Senator Cardin was pleased to know that Prince George’s County is continuing to be a beacon of light to the small business community, and applauds FSC First for supporting them during the pandemic!
